ATLANTA (December 16, 2019)– Troutman Sanders Strategies LLC is pleased to announce the addition of two governmental affairs specialists in the firm’s Atlanta office. Director Kade Cullefer and Manager Justin Kirnon bring a wide range of public policy and bi-partisan legislative experience to the team.

“We are excited to welcome Kade and Justin to our team,” said Robb Willis, chairman of Troutman Sanders Strategies. “Over the last several years, Kade has achieved great results in helping maintain Georgia’s pro-business environment through civil justice reform. Similarly, Justin brings a great breadth of experience and an unmatched set of local relationships with cities and counties across the state. ”

Cullefer was previously Counsel at Atlanta-based Smith, Grambrell & Russell, LLC, where he represented small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations and governmental entities by providing a suite of governmental affairs services. For more than a decade, Cullefer has assisted clients with a myriad of policy issues, including economic development, tax and finance, environment and energy, regulation, labor, insurance, and healthcare.

Kirnon joins the firm from the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), where he served as Government Relations Manager. Prior to that, he was a Senior Governmental Relations Associate at the Georgia Municipal Association where he represented the legislative needs of more than 500 cities in Georgia.
