Troutman Pepper Strategies Welcomes Ryan Diffley to DC Office

WASHINGTON – Troutman Pepper Strategies, the governmental relations and issue management arm of Troutman Pepper, announced today that Ryan Diffley has joined the firm as a senior manager in its Washington, DC office.

Diffley comes to the firm from the U.S. House of Representatives where he served as a senior legislative assistant. Most recently, he acted as a top advisor on policy and strategy for two of Congressman Robert Aderholt’s (AL-4) Appropriations’ Subcommittees. He authored legislation on issues spanning telecommunications, cybersecurity, transportation, infrastructure, homeland security, energy, and water. He also led a cyber policy initiative under former Congressman Tom Graves (GA-14), which included reintroducing the Active Cyber Defense Certainty Act, and built strong relationships with constituents and stakeholders, especially in the healthcare space.

Diffley earned his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Georgia and has lived in DC since 2014.
