RICHMOND, Va. – Elizabeth Parker has joined Troutman Pepper Strategies, a national governmental affairs firm, as Senior Manager, State Affairs in Richmond, Virginia. She joins the firm from Two Capitols Consulting, where she served as vice president.

Parker will lobby on behalf of firm clients and advise colleagues and clients about legislative and regulatory activity and issues. She draws upon her most recent position representing clients with diverse interests to the Virginia General Assembly and her earlier roles in the Office of Governor Terence R. McAuliffe, the Office of Governor Ralph S. Northam, and Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice.

“I am excited to join the talented team at Troutman Pepper Strategies that is widely respected for its work assisting clients across the country with public policy, advocacy, and government relations strategies,” Parker said.

Parker earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. She is currently a member of Leadership Metro Richmond’s flagship program that connects a diverse group of community leaders, increases their knowledge and perspectives on regional issues, and inspires them to embrace inclusion, collaboration, and servant leadership. She also serves as a volunteer college advisor with Partnership for the Future, which aims to break the cycle of poverty for young people by providing training and educational opportunities.
